From HWY 332 to 11th Street!

Well, we are all moved into our new house! It has been an exhausting week to say the least! This weekend as we packed up our old house, I had moments of sadness as I came across a few of Maggie's baby things. It made me think back to when we first moved into that house, I was over half way through my pregnancy with her. We were planning her room, decorating it, looking at a lot of baby supplies and equipment. All the excitement and planning that goes into having a baby, especially your first. Thinking about all the hopes and dreams we had for this sweet baby girl, how I long to have that feeling and excitement for a new baby again! That house was our first home together, we had many memories packed into that little house, memories of family coming to visit, painting Maggie's room, having her room all decorated and ready for her to come home to, watching my belly grow and move, and coming home after a devastating four day stay at the hospital and coming home with no baby in our arms. That house was home to us for many reasons.

Moving to a new house is a good thing, the old house brought many memories back of my pregnancy especially the bath tub. I took many baths towards the end of my pregnancy. So it's nice to have a new start in a new home! Moving across town was much easier than moving half way across the country like our last move was! We are almost completely done unpacking, just have to find storage places for things. Since we will be moving again in a few months, there is no point in fully unpacking. It's great to be in town now, we are close to the high school and closer to church so that's really nice! We have extra rooms upstairs and we have a full bath on the main floor and a half bathroom upstairs, I'm really excited to have family and friends come visit us this summer now that we have more room!

In mist of moving all our stuff, God brought to my attention how fully blessed we are with all the things he has given us. I am so thankful for a husband who loves me with his whole heart, a home to live in and a roof over my head, a bed to rest in at night, food in the fridge and on the selves. So often I can get wrapped up in things I want and things I think I need. God has filled me with a new hope for a bright future and hope for a new baby! I am so looking forward to the future and what God has in store for our life!

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks the door will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8

I am so glad and thankful to have a loving Heavenly Father who promises to fill my heart with hope and has my future already planned! Here's to a new start in a new home!
