He's ONE already.

This past Sunday we celebrated our sweet boy's first birthday... how did this year go SO fast?! It is a complete joy to be this little boys mommy, I am so thankful for him and his sweet personality (although he is a little naughty sometimes!) there is defiantly something special about the love between a mother and her son. I am proud to say that I successfully (exclusively) pumped for our boy for 11.5 months... it was hard and I felt like giving up at times but I'm so glad I didn't. He has transferred smoothly to cow's milk, he has 4 teeth (4 more than his sister had at this age!) continues to enjoy trying new big boy food, loves pulling himself up and can take steps when holding on to our fingers! He had his one year check up yesterday... he is still in the 1% but he's healthy and growing! He weighs a whole 16 lbs and 7 oz, he did not like his shots but was a champ for his finger prick, he didn't even make a peep! I just wanted to share this quick update on him along with a few pics from his birthday party! We are bummed that we were missing a lot of important family members for this celebration, but we're so thankful for the family that we do have near by and our sweet friends that joined us to celebrate our boy! Blessings on this Tuesday morning!
