Slow to anger

I will be the first person to tell you that I am not always slow to anger, something that I am working on in this new year. I have been very aware of how quickly I get upset with Kylie when she is freaking out in her 3 year old way, lately I have been really good about taking a deep breath and not getting upset with her. Well this morning my streak ended when she got upset about something and I yelled at her and put her in her room so she could settle down.

But as I sat here reflecting on how I reacted I realized that I may not be slow to anger but I am extremely quick to apologize when I know I didn't react how I should have. As soon as Kylie came back to the kitchen table after calming down I said I'm sorry mommy yelled at you and got upset. I am human and have flaws and yes I do yell at my kids, please forgive me!

I can only hope and pray that I can teach Kylie to be slow to anger, but I also hope to instill in her that if she does get upset and doesn't react the correct way that she will be quick to apologize and be able to see that she was in the wrong. Man, is this parenting thing tough.. I seriously feel like I'm winging it every single day!

I guess what I'm trying to say is that if you're a mommy out there that sometimes loses her cool and doesn't react the correct way 100% of the time... it's ok! Give yourself a break; you're human, you're flawed, you make mistakes, but everyday is a new day! God is a forgiving God, so let's spread some forgiveness to ourselves.

So just keep on keeping on Mama's!

I hope you are having a blessed week friends! Here are just a couple pics from yesterday and the other week when it was finally not too cold to go play out in the snow. I am looking forward to more sunny days and for the warmth to return. I'm so looking forward to long runs outside again.

My New Adventure.

So my new adventure is... becoming an It Works! independent distributor.

~ They are a christian based company that offers all natural health products ranging from; facials to protein powder. These products help you live a healthier lifestyle and help people like myself start our own businesses!

~ I am excited to start this new adventure and start using these products myself, so that I can give you honest feed back about what the products are doing for me

~ I, myself can only try so many products at one time... so what I need from just a few of you is consider buying some of these products and give me some feed back on what you think of them!
I just need some help with getting my business off the ground!

~ If you sign up to be a loyal customer with me, you will; save money (awesome), be able to try these products (why not give them a try) & help me start my business (I'd appreciate it)!

~ Once I get enough clients, I'm hoping to be able to stay home full time with the kids. My mommy heart has been struggling with working full time and commuting and not having as much time with my babies or with JC.

~ I am excited to start using their products; my first order included their blender bottle and Greens on the Go (because I myself like many struggle getting enough greens/vegetables in my diet) I have also heard that they help with fatigue!

~ One of my goals for 2017 is to run the Grandma's half marathon in Duluth, which will take a lot of time to train for and I'm afraid that if I'm working outside the house full time I'm not going to have the time to train like I need to for this!

~ So even if you're just curious about what products It Works! offers please head on over to my website and just take a look!!

breannbarber.myitworks.com

I'm taking a huge risk in this new adventure but I think with hard work and God on my side that I can succeed! I truly just want to encourage, inspire and help people live a healthier life and thats what these products offer!

In other news, it's cold here in Two Harbors today and I so thankful that I had the day off to just cuddle and nap with my babies!! JC had to work late tonight, so we are having pizza and probably going to watch a movie as a family! Nights like tonight make my heart so happy when we can all be together as a family! Sunday is our precious heaven babies birthdays and I took the day off of work to spend with my little family and I am so looking forward to spending the day with my babies here on earth and remember the ones that I will get to hold again in heaven some day! Blessings to you my friends!

Christmas Recap

Well the new year is here! I have fallen behind on updates on here, I apologize.. life has been busy with my long commute to work and working full time! I worked Christmas eve (the joy of working retail!) but I  did get Christmas day off to spend with my family!! It was so great being able to spend Christmas with my family because it has been years since I was able to do that! Enjoyed baking cookie with the kids and watching lots of Christmas movies with them! Christmas morning was so fun with them this year, it was the first year Kylie actually understood what was going on!
We are looking forward to 2017 and praying for some big changes/ decisions that we are making about settling down here in Two Harbors and finally starting to put some roots down! Cheers to the new years friends and I pray that God may bring many blessings to your lives this year! Here are some pics from our holiday season!
